	Mariposa's Art provides after-school art and music programs and community workshops that focus on developing leadership and social skills, addressing key health issues, and promoting academic success and career development. During our past eight years of service, Mariposa's Art has served over 6,000 at-risk youth, empowering them with self-confidence, future goals, gang alternatives, and leadership and communication skills.
	We're seeing the effects of global warming all around us - more intense heat waves that disproportionately affect the elderly and poor, more severe storms that wreak havoc on our homes and communities, and all kinds of changing cycles in the natural world.
	Plan works in 49 developing countries and is one of the world's largest development organizations. Child sponsorship is the foundation of our organization. We have about one million sponsors in 17 donor countries helping over one million children all over the world, together with their families and communities. 80% of moneys are directly used for Critical vaccination, nutrition programs, Pre/Postnatal care for mothers, Health clinic construction, Community midwife and health volunteer training, Community water system and well construction, Home construction and renovation, Household and school latrine construction, Schools construction and renovation, Teacher training, Vocational, agricultural and livestock training to improve household food and income.
	Autism is a complex neurobiological disorder that typically lasts throughout a person's lifetime. It is part of a group of disorders known as autism spectrum disorders (ASD). Today, 1 in 150 individuals is diagnosed with autism. According to the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, children with the Syndrome find it difficult to identify and express their feelings, they find it challenging, even impossible, to connect with others, often don't hold eye contact and have trouble reading other people's faces and gestures.
