Marty Bickford
Marty Bickford, Managing Director, United States Marty Bickford is the Managing Director of AffiliateTraction US. He is responsible for the direction and oversight of account strategy and service fulfillment. Attracted by the quality of service, unique value proposition, and strategic position of AffiliateTraction, Marty joined the company in 2009.

With 20 years of commercial internet experience, Marty was a co-founder of Stardust.com which empowered innovation as an evangelist of open internet protocols and APIs such as WinSock, WinSock 2, IP Multicast, QoS, and XML. This work resulted in the sale of Stardust.com to Penton Media in 1999 and co-founding of Aventail Corporation (which sold to SonicWall in 2007).

Currently a member of the PMA (Performance Marketing Association), Marty serves on the Tracking Standards and Coupon Feed Working Groups. Marty is often invited and available to speak on the intersection of performance marketing, business development, and emerging technology. Throughout his career, he has succeeded in marketing, business development, and technical evangelist roles. He has been often quoted and published on the topics of open standards and business process automation.

Marty received a BA in Historical Studies from Bethany University in 1992. He remains a student of consumer psychology, media and ecommerce.
Greg Shepard
Greg Shepard, CEO and President Greg Shepard, the founder and CEO of AffiliateTraction, is a seasoned veteran in the online affiliate marketing arena with almost 20 years of experience in building and running sustainable growth businesses. Greg has built and expanded AffiliateTraction into a global Affiliate Marketing and Management Agency with offices in Silicon Valley California, Toronto, London and now Australia.

During the emergence of the .com era, Greg co-founded a website and software development company in Denver, CO. Shortly after, he built and sold four web-based travel merchant businesses.

In early 1999, Greg founded Paragon Internet Consulting. From his previous perspective as a merchant, Greg was able to apply a wealth of knowledge gained from prior projects and used Paragon to learn, refine and grow his understanding of the performance marketing industry. In the following years, this knowledge helped him build and exit from ten online startups including publishers, merchants, service companies and SAAS enterprises in the affiliate and online marketing space.

Greg is an expert in the field, and his knowledge has been exemplified through speaking engagements at the Online Marketing Summit, Performance Marketing Insights, Affiliate Management Days and the University of Southeastern Louisiana.

Greg has also written articles and made contributions to RevenueMagazine, ReveNews, DMNews, DMConfidential, ThoughtShapers and Think. Greg has been interviewed by The American Marketing Association, The School of Internet Marketing, and WebMasterRadio. Greg has also served as a WebAward judge for the Web Marketing Association for over 5 years.

Greg has been retained by many startups including publishers, merchants and an affiliate payment and online banking solution.
